Edit Your Shortcut

Learn how to customize the keyboard shortcut used to trigger Rewrait text processing on Windows and Mac.

Windows​

To change your Rewrait shortcut on Windows:

  1. Find the Rewrait icon in your system tray (bottom-right corner of your screen)
  2. Right-click the Rewrait icon
  3. Select Settings from the context menu
  4. Click Edit Shortcut
  5. Click the shortcut key field
  6. Press the desired key combination (e.g., Ctrl+Shift+P)
  7. Click OK to save your changes

The new shortcut will be active immediately.

Mac​

To change your Rewrait shortcut on Mac:

  1. Right-click the Rewrait icon in your menu bar (top-right corner of your screen)
  2. Select "Settings..." from the context menu
  3. Go to "Keyboard Shortcuts..."
  4. Click the shortcut key field
  5. Press the desired key combination (e.g., Cmd+Shift+R)
  6. Click Apply or OK to save your changes

The new shortcut will be active immediately.
